Mark Sachs

Mark Sachs is an executive coach and organizational consultant who for more than 15 years have helped organizations reach their full potential.

His coaching practice focuses on helping executives and managers develop their leadership skills including managing staff, communicating more effectively, fostering collaboration, taking risks, and handling stress.

 

In his consulting practice his areas of focus include assessing organizational effectiveness, increasing communication among staff, developing effective teams, successfully managing change, planning effectively, and facilitating meetings and retreats.

 

His coaching clients have included FAA, DOT, Federal Highway Administration, NASA, DOE, IRS, FDIC, NIH, NOAA, and USAID. His consulting clients have included FEMA, FDA, NASA, NIH, DOD, DOE, NIST, Department of Agriculture, Federal Realty Investment Trust, the Washington Post, and the National Governors Association.

 

He also facilitates workshops that help people become more effective at work: “Getting What You Want: Setting and Maintaining Boundaries with Others,” “Making Correct Assumptions About Others,” “Discovering the Leader in You,” “Myers-Briggs: A Key to Understanding Your Strengths sand Enhancing Teamwork,” and “Helping Your Emotional Intelligence Work for You.”

 

Prior to opening his consulting firm, Mark was Director of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting’s Management Consulting Service. He was Manager of Station Relations at National Public Radio prior to his work at CPB.

 

He is a U.S. Air Force veteran where he was a meteorologist.

 

Mark earned his MS degree in Organization Development from the American University/NTL Institute. He also holds MA and BA degrees in Sociology from Rutgers University. He is a graduate of Coach University and he has International Coach Federation, PCC certification. Mark has more than 1,000 hours of client coaching experience.
