Types of Skills She Uses While Coaching:

Barbara coaches leaders at all organizational levels and works within the context of each leader’s unique work environment, specific leadership challenges, and desired goals.

  • She listens keenly, uses inquiry to explore possibilities, gives insightful feedback, is a focused observer, and creates positive and supportive coaching relationships.
  • She inspires, challenges, and partners with leaders to become their best. She helps leaders create plans for success; manage their career transition; become effective in managing people and change; build connective networks; and define personal, professional and organizational vision for success,
  • Barbara engages leaders in discussions with purpose, creative practices, learning activities, and planning and implementing workable actions.
  • She believes the biggest gains from coaching are achieved when people increase their self-awareness, question their thinking and assumptions, and see their lives and work through a new perspective – all leading toward greater resourcefulness, optimism, and energy.
  • Using an integrated coaching approach that incorporates many elements -work, career, family, health and wellness, values and interests,- Barbara’s coaching gets to the core of issues with ease; balances serious thought with wit; explores practical, realistic and sustainable solutions; and encourages people to continuously learn, grow and thrive.
